Currently working with the consultancy are 3 highly experienced consultant social workers; who specialise in working with children with SEN and between them have over 45 years of expert knowledge in how to assess young people’s needs, and provide expert support & guidance to support your child’s case moving forward.
An expert social worker assessment can be highly important and hold much weight in EHCP panel assessments, appeals & many other pathway blockages you are presented with.
Daniel C: Has worked as a social worker for over 17 years, focusing on children and families; supporting & intervention planning for parents and children with special educational needs – predominantly across London boroughs & the south east; providing him with detailed knowledge and expertise in assessing children with SEN.
Simon C: For 18 years Simon, has worked as a social worker across London and also the East Midlands. Simon has worked across all areas of social work, including supporting adults with SEN & for over 14 years assessing needs & supporting children, parents and schools.
Daniel & Simon have detailed experience in carrying out DOLS (deprivation of liberty safeguards) and related capacity assessments & numerous other functional assessments; which have equipped them with expertise in assessing children’s cognitive functioning/capacity.
Anthony R: has worked in social work for 13 years, specialising in assessing and supporting children and families with SEN in the Northwest & Manchester. Anthony has worked in multiple teams & has worked with many complex SEN cases.
Our consultants will provide expertise in diligently and robustly assessing your child’s needs, against current social services criteria and SEN policy – resulting in a detailed report with recommendations to be considered by all stakeholders working with your child.
The assessments our consultants carry out can be very important in building a strong and clear case for EHCP applications/appeals & pre judicial review evidence collation.
