At Your Child First we assess your child’s needs, diagnosis/condition through expert psychological assessment and reporting tools. We drill down into what support and intervention your child requires to access learning effectively and to make progress.

Many parents find that once a diagnosis or condition has been identified, there is then very little support and intervention offered to make a real difference to their child’s ability to access learning and make progress.

What can we do for you?

We specialise in supporting families to build the strongest possible cases. This helps them to face and overcome the barriers in front of them in the education system.

We offer expert support, guidance, advice and bespoke document writing services to analyse, assess and intervention plan for your child’s needs. This can help validate why your child requires focused support and effective intervention to make progress in school and their wider life.

Your child may require, Higher Needs funding (HNS) or an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) to help them access education effectively (in mainstream or a special school environment).

Active Planning consultancy and strategy calls – problem solving the issues you face & how to move forward

Applications for Educational health care Plans (EHCP) – Full service or drop in support as you require
Appeals – advice, support & document writing services – when further support has been denied

Extensive core document writing services – clarifying & forming a clear case, with detailed & robust supporting evidence to build a positive pathway forward for your child
Consultant Social Worker Assessment & reports – which can be highly important & hold great weight during times of key decisions for your child, such as EHCP assessments/appeals, school place applications/appeals, provision changes, personal budget & provision requests/changes & many other key decision times that affect your child
Bespoke Assessments – as your child needs, including: cognitive processing, deficit analysis & understanding, analysis of hardwired/emerging behaviours, access to Learning, current school support analysis, “FFP” (Fit for Purpose assessment) & many other assessments specific to your child’s needs.
